KU School of Engineering Student Council

2009 Assassins Rules

Overview
Each participant will register on the ESC website prior to the actual competition. After registering,
players will be given approximately 24 hours notice via email prior to the game starting.
After registering has completed, no new players will be added to the game
Failure to comply with any of the rules below will most likely result in disqualifiction from the game

Rules
1. School and safety first. If the game is found (by any means) to be unsafe or
interfering with school (in any way) the participants involved will be disqualified immediately.
If any teachers notify ESC about a participant being disruptive to
class the participant will be disqualified from the game.
2. No running is allowed in doors. If an assassin approaches the mark, the mark
cannot run away. If the mark is found to have run inside the mark will be
disqualified and the assassin will receive his or her new mark card.
3. Safe Zones are places the mark is allowed to be without being in danger of
being assassinated. These safe zones are listed below. Any assassination
taking place in a safe zone will be void.
[The mark will then know who his or her assassin is!]
4. To assassinate the mark, the assassin must place a sticker (provided by the
Committee) on the mark.
If the sticker is on the clothing of the mark, the skin
of the mark, or any bag held by the mark, the mark is considered assassinated.
5. Upon being assassinated, the mark must give their password to their assassin IN WRITING.
The successful assassin will then type in the password in the "Target Password" box after logging
on to the Assassins page.
6. Prizes may be awarded depending on the financial status of the Student Council at the time.
